Theme Customization

When you set up your online store, there are many ways that you can customize its look and feel, as well as its behavior. You can adjust the style and aesthetic to suit your brand, and add functionality or special information that relates to your business.

Neostage is sections ready Shopify Theme. It's has many built-in settings to customize the theme. It's compatible with the latest version of the Shopify.

You can make customizations in two different ways.

Theme Editor

The theme editor lets you view and change the built-in settings of Neostage theme.

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

  2. Click the Customize button for the theme that you want to customize:

Different types of pages have different theme sections. When you visit the theme editor, the settings for the home page are shown by default. To access the settings for other pages, select the page type from the top bar drop-down menu:

You can find general theme settings under the Theme Settings tab.

Code Editor

You can edit the theme code in the Edit code page:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

  2. For the Neostage theme, click Actions, then click Edit code:

On the Edit code page, you can edit the existing files, and add new ones. The page shows a directory of theme files and an online code editor. For more info click here.

Since code editing is required only for custom changes in the theme, it's out of scope of this documentation and support from the Postcode.
